This position is responsible for verifying order accuracy, performing material handling tasks, and finalizing shipments in accordance with established quality and performance standards. The Warehouse Associate works within a highly automated fulfillment environment and contributes to operational excellence by adhering to safety, compliance, and productivity requirements while maintaining flexibility to support multiple work areas as needed.\nKey Responsibilities:\n1. Order Processing & Finalization:\nVerify order contents and finalize shipments in gurneys to ensure accuracy prior to dispatch.\nPerform material handling tasks such as unboxing automotive parts, checking hardware specifications, verifying product quality standards, and reboxing as needed to meet or exceed quality expectations.\n2. Operational Flexibility:\nPerform tasks outside of the normal work area when requested to support overall DC operations.\nParticipate in cross-training initiatives to develop a versatile skill set and contribute to workforce flexibility.\n3. Performance & Compliance:\nComplete all tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), meeting required performance metrics and quality benchmarks.\nTrack and record daily performance achievements within the Labor Tracker Metrics System.\n4. Continuous Improvement & Training:\nEngage in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency.\nSupport ongoing process improvement efforts within the DC.\n5. Safety & Workplace Standards:\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while ensuring compliance with PPE requirements and company safety standards.\nOperate powered industrial trucks and mechanized material handling equipment safely and responsibly.\n6. Attendance & Reliability:\nDemonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality, minimizing disruption to operations caused by absence or lateness.\n7. Additional Duties:\nPerform all other duties as assigned\nReporting Structure:\nReports directly to the DC Manager and/or DC Supervisor.\nThis position has no direct reports.\nRequirements\nKey Requirements:\nExperience: Minimum of 1-3 years of direct warehouse experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment, preferably with exposure to small parcel and LTL order processing.\nEducation: High school diploma or GED required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.\nTechnical Skills: Proficiency with basic computer and technology usage; familiarity with distribution software systems strongly preferred.\nCommunication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nKnowledge & Aptitude: Mechanical aptitude and general understanding of automotive parts preferred.\nWork Ethic: Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to adapt to changing operational needs.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.\nMobility: Ability to move throughout the warehouse, including walking on concrete floors and maneuvering between work areas.\nStanding and Walking: Frequent standing and walking for extended periods of time.\nLifting and Carrying: Regularly lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.\nTools & Equipment: Use of carton knives, taping equipment, automated strappers, pallet wrappers, carts, and other small hand tools.\nPosture & Motion: Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching while handling products and materials.\nVision & Hearing: Adequate visual and auditory acuity to safely operate equipment and complete quality checks.\nWork Environment: Work is performed in a modern DC facility with exposure to varying temperatures, moderate noise, and active warehouse operations.\nTravel Requirements:\nThis position does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel to other DCs may be requested to provide support as needed.\nFSLA Classification: Non-exempt\n Equal Opportunity and Accommodation Statement:\nDMA Industries, LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
