You’ll work closely with journalists and editors across the newsroom, presenting stories on camera, conducting interviews and location pieces, producing and editing your own packages, and helping develop original formats that stand out for energy, clarity and authority. \n\n Main Responsibilities\nPresent, script and voice Daily Mail news packages, features, live hits and original video formats on camera.\nWork with the wider newsroom to turn editorial stories into compelling visual narratives.\nConduct interviews, produce pieces to camera and report live from location as required.\nProduce and edit your own content, managing the workflow from script to screen using industry-standard too\nCollaborate closely with video producers, editors and motion graphics specialists to deliver polished, high-quality output.\nSupport the editorial and video teams in pitching, developing and executing new content ideas.\nHelp set a high standard for clarity, editorial integrity and audience engagement.\nPerson Specification\nConfident, charismatic and professional on camera, with previous experience as a presenter or broadcast reporter.\nSkilled interviewer and adaptable storyteller, able to work across hard news, features and lighter social content.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAble to work flexibly in a fast-paced, digital-first newsroom.\nVideo production and editing proficiency (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro), able to self-shoot and edit.\nPassion for news, current affairs and digital storytelling.\nStrong news judgement and understanding of Daily Mail’s audience and style.\nShowreel or examples of on-camera work required.\nWhat We’re Looking For \nA confident on-screen journalist, able to engage audiences and break down stories clearly.\nA creative team player ready to support the wider newsroom and embrace innovation in format and storytelling.\nSomeone enthusiastic about reporting, presenting and, ideally, the production process.\n\nPackage Description\nOur benefits package increases the longer you’ve been with us.
