In this role, you will build and optimize the high-performance, low-latency infrastructure that powers our commercial platforms.\nUnlike standard full-stack or frontend roles that rely heavily on heavy UI frameworks, this position focuses deeply on the inner workings of the browser. You will write highly efficient vanilla JavaScript, interface directly with browser APIs, and manage the containerised infrastructure that serves our commercial products at scale.\nRole-Related Knowledge:\nBrowser Internals: Deep understanding of browser architecture, critical rendering paths, painting, layout engine mechanics, and memory management.\n Ad-Tech Ecosystem (Highly Desirable): Conceptual knowledge of digital advertising infrastructure, including header bidding, ad servers, tracking pixels, and privacy-focused sandbox APIs.\n Modern Web Standards: Strong grasp of security protocols (CORS, CSPs), cookie policies, and web performance metrics (Core Web Vitals).\nAbout You\nEssential Skills:\nLanguages: Expert-level mastery of TypeScript and vanilla JavaScript (ES6+).\nRuntime Environments: Strong proficiency in js for backend services and build tooling.\nLow-Level DOM Manipulation: Proven experience working directly with the DOM and Browser APIs without relying on abstraction frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).\nDevOps & Infrastructure: Solid hands-on experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes (K8s), and building robust CI/CD pipelines.\nSoftware Engineering Fundamentals: Excellent command of data structures, algorithms, system design, and clean code architectures.\nCapabilities:\nPerformance Optimisation:Ability to profile, debug, and optimize code to execute with minimal CPU and memory footprints in highly constrained environments.\nTooling Leverage:Proactive adoption and strong leverage of LLM/AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development and automate repetitive workflows.\nAutonomy & Problem Solving:Capability to diagnose complex, asynchronous race conditions across different browser environments and vendor scripts.\nCultural Add:\nEngineering Excellence: You take pride in writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, avoiding unnecessary dependencies.\nPragmatic & Technical Curiosity: You enjoy peeling back the layers of software to understand how things work under the hood rather than just making them work.\nCollaboration & Openness: You actively participate in code reviews, share technical insights, and welcome constructive feedback.\nPackage Description\nOur benefits package increases the longer you’ve been with us.
