You’ll work closely with producers, creatives, presenters and editors to turn briefs into strong, engaging visual content designed for platforms including TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.\nYou’ll be comfortable working independently on shoots while also collaborating with the wider video team, supported by the Senior Videographer and Production Lead.\nPerson Specification\nFilm social-first editorial and commercial shoots across DMG brands\nOwn assigned shoots from prep through to delivery, including shot lists, lighting, audio and file handover\nWork with producers and creatives to understand briefs, timings and shoot requirements\nCapture strong, considered coverage with a clear understanding of what will be needed in the edit\nAdapt quickly on set and solve problems calmly and efficiently\nWork confidently with presenters, contributors and wider production teams\nUnderstand strong hooks, opening beats and visual storytelling for social audiences\nAdapt shooting styles to suit different brands, formats and platforms\nBring ideas informed by video culture, audience behaviour and creator trends\nHandle camera, sound and lighting equipment confidently and maintain strong technical standards\nWork within agreed production workflows, including file management, releases and permissions\nCommunicate clearly with the wider production team before, during and after shoots\nContribute ideas and feedback that help improve shoots, formats and production processes\nPerson Specification\nStrong showreel demonstrating social-first videography\nConfident shooting on Sony FX3, FX6, A7S III and similar camera setups\nStrong understanding of lighting for interviews, run-and-gun shoots and controlled environments\nAble to capture clean dialogue and location sound\nComfortable working independently as well as part of a wider production team\nComfortable working across fast-turnaround editorial and commercial briefs\nKeeps up to date with platform trends, production techniques and new creative tools\nYou might already be:\nA freelance videographer working across social and digital content\nA videographer with social, digital, TV or documentary experience\nA shooter working across fast-turnaround news, entertainment, sport, lifestyle or culture\nA content creator with strong technical production skills and a good understanding of what works on social\nOur Commitment\nWe are committed to increasing diversity and maintaining an inclusive workplace culture.
