This is a field-based, entry-level sales role combining structured training, coaching and live field activity.\nPrevious sales experience is not required. You must be self-motivated, resilient, reliable and comfortable approaching business owners face to face. Candidates who successfully complete the six-month academy and meet the required standards will graduate and be promoted to Business Development Consultant.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDuring the academy, you will be responsible for:\nComplete all product, compliance, systems and sales training.\n\nManage and develop your assigned territory on a daily basis.\n\nB2B cold calling (75+ door knocks daily once fully active).\n\nTarget SME businesses with annual card turnover of £50,000 - £7.5m.\n\nIdentify merchant needs and promote appropriate DNA Payments, EPOS and Zash solutions.\n\nEfficiently manage your CRM and pipeline of opportunities to achieve expected conversions.\n\nWork towards 1 self-generated sales a day (20 per average working month)\n\nTarget clients with monthly £50+ net revenue to achieve monthly targets.\n\nSuccessfully complete customer applications and support customers through to live and transacting.\n\nWork with internal teams to process, deliver and set up products, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.\n\nApply coaching and feedback and demonstrate continued improvement.\n\nMaintain the required standards for attendance, punctuality, activity, administration and professional conduct.\n\nBe present on daily huddle calls both in the morning and in the evening.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nSelf-motivated and able to work independently in the field.\n\nResilient and comfortable with rejection.\n\nCoachable and willing to apply feedback.\n\nReliable, punctual and prepared.\n\nStrong work ethic and willingness to meet daily activity targets.\n\nConfident communication skills and a customer-focused approach.\n\nHonest, professional and able to represent DNA Payments appropriately.\n\nAbility to use Microsoft Office Programs\n\nAbility to perform simple maths calculations - i.e 1% of £100.\n\nGraduation and progression\nGraduation at month six is based on performance, activity, product knowledge, conduct, CRM accuracy, attendance and coachability.
