Some automations already exist; the mandate is to take them over, rebuild what needs rebuilding, and own a clean, maintainable stack end to end. There is no technical manager above you - you work directly with the founder and the commercial lead, and the architecture decisions are yours.\nWhat you'll work on\nAI development & automation - 80%\nAI research agents: vendors, sponsors, guests, brands, venues, market opportunities\nScreening and scoring systems that combine scraped data with hard metrics and business criteria\nInbox triage, summarisation, and routing; multi-inbox monitoring with decision-ready daily summaries\nSystems that turn unstructured founder inputs (screenshots, voice notes, links) into recommendations and routed tasks\nCRM and outreach workflows, dashboards and trackers, calendar and recurring-task automations\nNo one has built all of this - what matters is a track record with comparable use cases and the ability to transfer it to new problem types. Expect a fast cadence: first automation live within 30 days, several production workflows by 60-90 days.\nTechnical generalist - 20% (~1 day/week)\nKeep the operational stack running: Notion (incl. Notion AI), Google Workspace, HubSpot, access management, integrations, troubleshooting, data cleanup\nRequirements\nShipped production automations or AI-powered tools in a real business context - not side projects, demos, or hackathon builds\nPractical fluency with LLMs, APIs, and at least one automation platform (Make, n8n, Zapier, or similar)\nPython or equivalent scripting ability - many builds are achievable low-code, but candidates who can write and debug their own scripts have a higher ceiling\nExperience with vector search, RAG, agent frameworks, function calling, and workflow orchestration\nAbility to design workflows with human approval points, exception handling, logging, and error recovery - systems that fail gracefully and visibly, not silently\nStrong documentation habits - your systems must be maintainable and understandable by non-technical colleagues\nComfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and working independently without full specs or a technical escalation path\nEnglish sufficient for daily written and spoken communication (B2+)\nNice to have\nExperience building internal tools for executives, family offices, venture studios, agencies, or lean startups\nHubSpot or comparable CRM experience\nLocation requirements\nFully remote, but your working day must overlap with UK time (GMT/BST) for 6-8 hours daily\nAn additional ~2-hour overlap with Malaysia time (GMT+8) is a plus\nWhat to expect\nGreenfield mandate: build and own the AI stack;
