Our mission is ambitious, and so is our team.\nWhat You’ll Do\nWe're looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to join our team for full-time, 14-month contract.\nYou will own the planning and execution of client projects that drive advancements in areas such as Parkinson’s Disease, ALS, and Autism. Reporting to the Director of Market Development, you’ll be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of contracted deliverables, maintaining strong client relationships, driving contract renewal and extension, and keeping projects aligned with strategic objectives.\nYou’ll coordinate with internal teams across product, engineering, and design to prioritize tasks, manage dependencies, and ensure smooth execution. You’ll also engage with executive leadership-both internally and within client organizations-to facilitate discussions, understand needs and pain points, and support decision-making.\nIn addition to overseeing timelines and deliverables, you’ll manage budgets, track progress, and handle reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and are excited to contribute to meaningful work in genomics and health research.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn and drive external client programs, ensuring the successful execution of contracted deliverables, proactively addressing client inquiries, and maintaining high-level stakeholder engagement.\nLead cross-functional collaborationwith internal product, engineering, and design teamsto drive execution, negotiate priorities, and remove roadblocks.\nIdentify potential project execution risks and work with internal teams to enact mitigation strategies\nOrganize and facilitate weekly external and internal meetings, including preparing agendas and presentations, taking minutes, and sending succinct and actionable summary communications\nManage project budgets, external reports, and invoicing, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.\nIdentify and leadstrategic opportunities to expand servicesto existing and new clients\nServe as a strategic partnerto executive leadership teams, providing insights, rationale, and recommendations for decision-making.\nWork with leadership to support, develop and model best project management practices\nEmbed and support customer success practiceswithin all aspects of project management\nDrive additional strategic initiativesas needed, based on business needs and opportunities for impact.\nSkills\nStrong working knowledge of PMBOK process groups and their practical application\nCommercial judgement in contract negotiation and scope management\nAbility to manage multiple large, complex, multi-stakeholder projects simultaneously\nExemplary written and verbal communication; able to convey complex ideas and strategies to diverse audiences\nExcellent collaboration and relationship building\nExtremely organized with strong attention to detail\nSelf-driven and able to work independently, while also maintaining transparency within teams \nProactive leader and problem solver - showcases creativity in addressing challenges, offering solutions to complex problems\nQuick learner and curious team player, someone who is unafraid to ask questions \nAbility to lead tasks with limited precedents and prior references available\nAdaptable and flexible, is able to adjust priorities based on company needs while maintaining external commitments \nPossess a strategic mindset with the ability to align project initiatives with broader organizational goals and objectives.\nMinimum Qualifications\n5-10 years of hands-on project management experience, within a B2B or SaaS environment \nPrior experience in a customer-facing role, managing external stakeholders on high-value contracts (e.g. valued at >$1M CAD)\nDemonstrated experience delivering complex programs with formal reporting obligations\nExperience drafting and managing commercial contracts\nPreferred Requirements\nPrior experience working with product and/or engineering teams\nPrevious employment within a small, agile team e.g. startup or small business \nKnowledge expertise in technology, data sharing, genomics, or bioinformatics an asset\nExperience in customer success, product marketing, or community management\nProficiency with project management and collaboration tooling\nExperience in genomics, life sciences, or a regulated technical domain considered an asset\nPMP certification is highly preferred\nWhere You’ll Work\nThis role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work both remotely and from our Toronto office.
