This information assists with developing crew sizes and durations. Reads and interprets tank/contract drawings to ensure work is performed according to specifications.\nChecks and confirms wall penetration locations and anchor tree elevations.\nReviews prestressing drawing to confirm the sequencing of prestressing and number of spools needed.\nIn the absence of the Superintendent, starts up/sets up a project including, mobilizing and erecting the tower, inspecting the tank, and setting up the connex trailer.\nIn the absence of the Superintendent, closes out a project by dismantling the machine, properly loading the machine onto trucks, organizing and securing the connex and calling all equipment off rent.\nLeads the quality control (QC) program by taking ownership of the quality inspections.\nLeads the equipment inspections and promptly notifies the Superintendent of any concerns or damage with the machine. Properly documents required work orders and reports them to the Superintendent or Equipment Manager.\nWorks with the Superintendent or Project Manager to complete all required paperwork for the project including SIS schedule, equipment and QC photos, weekly safety inspection report, timesheets, and equipment inspections.\nCoordinates with Purchasing and Warehouse Departments on the delivery of equipment and supplies as needed.\nCollaborates with the Superintendent or Project Manager to plan daily and long-term work schedule and complete weekly short interval schedules.\nActively pursues training on Superintendent duties such as improving computer skills, scheduling, payroll administration, documentation logs, weather checks, etc. This includes using the iPad and the laptop computer.\nUnderstands the entire concrete supply program including calculating water/cement ratios, figuring dosage amounts for admixtures, mixing trucks to proper slump, and testing for slump and air content.\nUtilizes, studies, and maintains (i.e. --- notes and highlighted sections) own set of tank drawings.\nInventories material upon delivery to ensure components comply with the tank drawings prior to signature.\nInventories spare parts and ensures wear and tear parts are stocked in the connex. Reports the use of any parts to the Equipment Manager in order to re-stock onsite supply\nParticipates in a daily closeout meeting with the Superintendent providing an update on the day’s activities and needs for the following day.\nLeads the APSP Safety Program and ensures that all personnel onsite are following DN Tanks safety policies.\nResponsible for communicating to all personnel onsite that they have stop work authority.\nDevelops task hazard analysis (THA) and makes the necessary changes specific to the job site conditions and reviews with the crew.\nIdentifies hazards, takes action to correct them, and is responsible for recognizing those who do the same in accordance with the Award of Excellence (AOE) Program.\nResponsible for maintaining a clean and organized jobsite.\nMaintains all certifications in compliance with DN Tanks Safety & Equipment Programs.\nIdentifies labor shortages, recruits local help, and identifies potential long-term field employees.\nProvides timely performance feedback on field employees to determine skill level, areas of required training and readiness for promotion and/or
