responsible for following paint procedure and apply coatings to specified requirements.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nPrepare metal surfaces on pipes, tanks, and vessels using abrasive blasting techniques (e.g., sand, grit, or shot blasting) to remove rust, scale, and old coatings.\nApply industrial coatings and paints using airless spray, conventional spray, or brush/roller methods to meet specified thickness and finish requirements.\nRead and interpret job specifications, safety data sheets, and coating manufacturer instructions to ensure compliance with project standards.\nOperate and maintain blasting and painting equipment, including compressors, spray guns, and ventilation systems.\nPerform quality checks using tools such as wet film gauges, dry film thickness meters, and adhesion testers.\nFollow strict safety protocols, including confined space entry, fall protection, and respiratory protection procedures.\nWork closely with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines without compromising quality or safety.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nProven experience in industrial painting and abrasive blasting, preferably in oil & gas, marine, or heavy industrial environments.\nKnowledge of surface preparation standards (e.g., SSPC/NACE) and coating application techniques.\nAbility to operate and troubleshoot blasting and painting equipment.\nPhysical stamina to work in demanding environments, including heights, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.\nSafety-first mindset
