This includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, systems, and facilities.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nPerform routine inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance on facility equipment, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, and machinery.\nIdentify potential issues before they escalate and schedule preventive maintenance activities.\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the facility.\nRespond to maintenance requests promptly to minimize downtime and ensure equipment operates efficiently.\nMaintain the physical integrity of the building, including performing basic carpentry, painting, and general facility repairs.\nEnsure a clean and safe working environment by keeping tools, materials, and work areas in order.\nMaintain adequate levels of maintenance supplies, parts, and equipment.\nTrack inventory usage and coordinate with the purchasing department for restocking materials.\nRespond to emergency maintenance requests and provide timely solutions to ensure the safety of personnel and minimize production interruptions.\nDiagnose and correct hazardous conditions and malfunctions promptly.\nWork closely with the manufacturing team to support production needs and minimize downtime.\nProvide support for facility upgrades, modifications, and new installations as required.\nDocument daily activities, work order resolution, equipment maintenance and repair activities\nOther duties assigned by management. \nQualifications\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent\nStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.\nAbility to use common precision measurement gauges, multimeters and basic machine shop equipment.\nBasic understanding of building codes, safety standards, and OSHA regulations.\nExperience working with boiler/chiller systems\nTechnical knowledge of industrial manufacturing building equipment and maintenance required.\nMust be able to work from blueprints, manufacturer specifications and wiring diagrams\nExperience with slitting and coating process preferable \nMust be capable of working flexible hours to accommodate 24/7 manufacturing operations, including weekends, and on-call requirements\nAbility to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nReasoning ability - the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. \nAbility to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.\nAbility to work independently and take appropriate corrective action when minor problems arise\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities\nPhysical Demands\nMust be able to stand/walk for a 12-hour shift.\nMust be able to push/pull/life at least 45 lbs. individually and 50 lbs. with the help of a team member \nMust be able to use, handle, and manipulate items and materials, including hazardous materials with proper material handling equipment/tools.\nMust complete 24/40-hour HazWoper Training and be medically qualified to wear respiratory protection\nReasonable Accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.\nSafety Requirements\nPhysically able to pass spirometry exam for test fitting of respiratory equipment\nAbility to wear required PPE (including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and ANSI-approved footwear.\nThe hiring range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 per hour.
