It is a technical escalation and reliability role that sits at the intersection of Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations.\nWhat You’ll Do\nEquipment Reliability & Advanced Troubleshooting\nAct as the technical escalation point for chronic, complex equipment issues\nTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls-related failures\nPerform in-depth machine evaluations and properly route corrective actions through Maintenance WOs\nTrack temporary fixes (“band-aids”) and drive them to permanent countermeasures\nIdentify design-driven failure modes and initiate corrective actions\nEngineering Support & Continuous Improvement\nSupport new equipment installs, upgrades, and validations\nDesign, fabricate, assemble, and test proof-of-concept solutions\nContribute hands-on solutions to CARs, RCAs, and reliability investigations\nAnalyze downtime, failure trends, and equipment performance data\nParticipate in Kaizen and CI initiatives across slitting and packaging\nStandards, Quality & Documentation\nVerify correct components, hardware, and installation methods\nReject sub-standard work and push for proper resolution-not workarounds\nEnforce equipment and design standards; flag and correct deviations\nDevelop and maintain troubleshooting guides and technical documentation\nGenerate clear technical summaries of issues, findings, and actions\nFabrication, Design & Technical Support\nFabricate and assemble mechanical or electro-mechanical components\nCreate and update CAD drawings for equipment modifications\nSupport ancillary equipment, parts tracking, and replacement planning\nRead and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams\nWhat We’re Looking For\nRequired / Strongly Preferred\n5+ years as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment\nStrong troubleshooting experience with automated production equipment\nWorking knowledge of:Mechanical systems\nElectrical systems\nPneumatics\nSensors, motors, and basic controls\n\nAbility to read and interpret:Electrical schematics\nWiring diagrams\nOEM documentation\n\nExperience with precision measurement tools and multimeters\nComfortable working independently on complex technical problems\nPreferred (Not Required)\nExperience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment\nA.S. degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent hands-on experience\nExposure to equipment upgrades, process improvements, or CI work\nFamiliarity with CAD or technical documentation\nSupport with 3D printing and maintain process-part inventory\nExperience with reliability, root cause, or continuous improvement methods\nEquivalent experience is valued over formal education.\nWho Thrives in This Role\nSenior maintenance techs ready for a next-level technical role\nProblem-solvers who want to fix issues permanently, not repeatedly\nTechnicians who enjoy working with Engineering and Operations\nIndividuals looking to expand influence, scope, and professional growth\nWhy This Is a Step Up\nExpanded technical authority and ownership\nDirect impact on equipment reliability and design decisions\nVisibility with Operations and Engineering leadership\nOpportunity to shape standards, not just follow them\nA clear path beyond reactive maintenance\nDNP IAM is a 100 percent U.S. subsidiary of Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd.
