We deliver the insights portal for Energy Systems, we participate in improvements projects with Operational Excellence teams, and we engage in AI adoption initiatives.\nIn this role, you will work with large and complex datasets from multiple sources, transforming data into trusted analytics, dashboards, and visual stories that make insights accessible to stakeholders across the business. You will combine curiosity, analytical rigour, and strong business understanding to identify patterns, explain performance, and support data-driven decision-making.\nYou will be part of a collaborative analytics environment where data quality, usability, and stakeholder adoption matter as much as technical delivery. The position is well suited for someone with 2-4 years of relevant experience who enjoys working hands-on with business intelligence tools and translating analytical findings into clear recommendations.\nWhat you will do\nAnalyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities that support business priorities.\nDesign, build, and maintain effective dashboards and reports using Power BI. Diversity is fundamental to our culture and we invite you to be part of this diversity.\n Must-have experience\n2-4 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.\nA bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as data analytics, economics, business, engineering, computer science, statistics, or a related discipline.\nExperience working with large, complex datasets and turning them into structured analysis, reports, or dashboards.\nStrong ability to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements, analytical questions, and practical outputs.\nExperience presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear visualisations, storytelling, and concise recommendations.\nTechnical skills\nStrong hands-on skills in at least one leading BI and visualisation tool, preferably Power BI.\nGood understanding of data modelling, dashboard design, report performance, and user-friendly visual analytics.\nExperience with data quality checks, data reconciliation, and documenting definitions, assumptions, and calculations.\nExperience with Excel for analysis and ad hoc business support; experience with Python, R, Power Query, DAX, or similar tools/languages is an advantage.\nExperience extracting, transforming, and analysing data from relational databases, data warehouses, or lakehouse environments.\nFamiliarity with cloud data platforms, APIs, or modern analytics environments is beneficial, but not required.\nWays of working\nYou are curious, structured, and comfortable exploring data to understand what is really happening behind the numbers.\nYou take ownership of tasks from problem framing to analysis, visualisation, communication, and follow-up.\nYou have strong attention to detail and care about data quality, consistency, and trust.\nYou collaborate well with both technical and business colleagues and enjoy making data useful for others.\nYou communicate clearly, ask good questions, and are able to explain analytical findings in a simple and relevant way.\nYou are motivated by continuous improvement and look for opportunities to simplify reporting, automate repetitive work, and improve how insights are delivered.\nSecurity and compliance with statutory requirements in the countries in which we operate is essential for DNV.
