Among the opportunities that a process engineer in the team will deliver are process modeling of several scales of a facility depending on the customer’s requirements and the preparation of Front-end Loading (FEL) documents from the identification of the opportunity (FEL 0) to Select (FEL 2).\nThis role can be based at any in Toronto, ON; Calgary, AB; Vancouver, BC presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site. The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. Ability to develop chemical processes models from scratch. Experience with only review of process models will not be considered. \nExperience with making/preparing process/system design, including PFS, PEFS, PFDs, P&IDs, and the ability to design equipment.\nDemonstrated knowledge level for reading and preparing these diagrams with tools such as MS Visio and/or AutoCAD and/or equivalent.\nExperience as a team member in capital projects through the several stages of project development including Front-End Loading (FEL) stages from FEL 0 to FEL 3, construction, commissioning and operations. \nAbility to prepare cost estimates (Class 5 to Class 4 as per AACE). \nAbility to estimate life cycle greenhouse emissions and able to use standard LCA tools.\nKnowledge about hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, synthetic fuels processes, LNG and CCS.\nMaster competence level in Process Safety.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical information to subject and non-subject matter experts.\nStrong project management and change management skills.\nAbility to work on multiple tasks concurrently during a given workweek.\nResults and documentation-oriented work philosophy
