At the core of our approach is a passionate team of designers who share a common vision: crafting timeless and beautiful designs that resonate with our clients, whether they are seeking to transform their residences or commercial spaces.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Quality Control Manager \n\nLocation: Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nIndustry: Furniture Manufacturing & Interior Design\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, sound HSE knowledge and the ability to drive quality improvement, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.\nThe successful candidate will ensure that products, materials, processes and project deliverables meet established quality standards, client specifications and regulatory requirements.\nDO.II Designs Limited is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to lead and oversee quality assurance and control activities across its production and project operations.\n\nKey Roles & Responsibilities\n\nLead root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimise recurring defects.\nReview customer complaints relating to product quality and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.\nDevelop, implement and oversee quality control policies, procedures and plans across production and project operations.\nEnsure compliance with relevant Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements across production and project activities.\nIdentify potential workplace hazards and collaborate with relevant teams to promote safe work practices.\nLead and supervise quality control activities to ensure compliance with company standards, client specifications and applicable regulations.\nDevelop and monitor quality standards, checklists, inspection reports and performance metrics.\nEstablish and monitor quality inspection procedures for raw materials, production processes, finished products and project installations.\nCarry out other duties as may be assigned by Management.\nDrive continuous improvement in production processes, workmanship, product quality and operational standards.\nEnsure timely identification, documentation, investigation and resolution of quality issues.\nLead internal quality audits and coordinate external quality assessments where required.\nPrepare periodic quality reports and provide Management with updates on quality performance, risks and improvement initiatives.\nMonitor the condition and suitability of production equipment in relation to product quality and safety.\nLead, mentor and develop the Quality Control team to ensure effective performance and accountability.\nEvaluate suppliers' and contractors' quality performance and recommend improvements where necessary.\nWork closely with Production, Projects, Procurement, Sales and other departments to maintain quality standards throughout the value chain.\nConduct regular factory and project site inspections to identify defects, deviations and areas requiring improvement.\n\nExperience & Qualifications\n\nB.Sc./HND in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Management, Production Management or a related discipline.\nSound knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards and workplace safety practices.\nDemonstrable experience in leading or supervising quality control teams and implementing quality management systems.\nRelevant professional certifications in Quality Management, HSE or related fields will be an added advantage.\nExperience in quality audits, production inspections, root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action management.\nMinimum of 5 years' relevant experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, preferably within furniture manufacturing, interior design, construction or a related industry.\n\nKey Competencies:\n\nHSE Compliance\nRoot-Cause Analysis\nReporting & Documentation\nRisk Assessment\nContinuous Improvement.\nQuality Assurance & Control\nCommunication\nProduction & Process Inspection\nTeam Leadership\nAnalytical Thinking\nRegulatory Compliance\nQuality Management Systems\nAttention to Detail\nProblem-Solving\n\nSalary\n\nN300,000 -
