In this role, you’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Security teams to architect and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that improve productivity, data quality, automation, and customer experience.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrated third party systems.\n\nLead the architecture and implementation of Salesforce customizations including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, integrations, and platform automation\n\nPartner with stakeholders across GTM and Operations teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions\n\nImprove and maintain Salesforce data architecture, security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and governance standards\n\nBuild and support integrations between Salesforce and external platforms such as MuleSoft, NetSuite, CPQ, ERP, marketing automation, customer support, and data platforms\n\nDrive platform optimization, technical debt reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives\n\nOwn the Salesforce DevOps and release management lifecycle while establishing engineering best practices, including Gearset administration, source control, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, deployment governance, production change management, and technical documentation.\n\nParticipate in roadmap planning and provide technical leadership for strategic Salesforce initiatives\n\nManage Agentforce, Slackbot, AI skills, and other AI Salesforce offerings.\n\nTroubleshoot complex production issues and implement scalable long-term solutions\n\nQualifications\n5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments\n\nDeep expertise with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, Flow automation, and platform security\n\nExperience designing and implementing integrations using MuleSoft\n\nFamiliarity with NetSuite and quote-to-cash business processes strongly preferred\n\nStrong understanding of Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD practices\n\nExperience working with Agile development methodologies\n\nStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills\n\nExperience working in high-growth SaaS or technology companies preferred\n\nNice to Have\nSalesforce Platform Developer I or II certification\n\nExperience with Salesforce CPQ and billing systems\n\nExperience with RevOps or quote-to-cash processes\n\nFamiliarity with data warehousing, analytics, or AI-driven workflows\n\nExperience supporting global sales organizations\n\nWhat to Expect\nFirst 30 days:\nFamiliarize yourself with the Salesforce team, instance, code base, best practices, design principles, and deployment methodologies.\n\nEngage with Product teams for deliverables to prioritize projects\n\nIntroduce yourself to the cross functional teams the Salesforce team\n\nFirst 90 days:\nDive Deep into the technology architecture to evaluate performance and refactor code\n\nEngage with our Technical Architect and System Administrators on pain points to identify solutions\n\nContinue to build on best practices to make our instance performant, secure, and scalable\n\nOne Year Outlook:\nDeliver to project requirements independently\n\nDevelop and grow your skill set and career as you become the subject matter expert in our Salesforce instance\n\nOwn the Salesforce ecosystem as it relates to third party tooling, integrations, dependencies, and other upstream/downstream systems.\n\nDocker does not offer visa sponsorship for this role.\nCompensation & Equity\nCanada: CA$156,450 - CA$223,500 + equity\nUnited States: $112,700 - $161,000 + equity\n______________________________________________________________________\nPosting Information\nOpen vacancy: This posting is for an existing open role.\n\nAI in hiring: Docker may use AI-assisted tools during our recruiting process.\n\nInterview recordings: Candidates will be invited to opt in to interview recordings to support interviewer calibration and consistent evaluations.
