In this role, you’llbe at the heart of our network-monitoring, troubleshooting, and protecting the services that keep Guam and the CNMI connected 24/7, 365 daysa year.\nIf you thrive in fast-paced environments, love problem-solving, and enjoy being the calmin the storm when issues arise, this role is for you.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a NOC Technician, you’lltake end-to-end ownership of network monitoring, incident response, and coordination across teams to ensure service reliability and performance.\nYou will:\nMonitor DOCOMO PACIFIC’s Video, Internet, Mobile, Voice, and IT networks using enterprise-level surveillance tools (RAN, Transmission, IP Core, EMS, NMS, OSS, Servers, Power, and more).\nManage trouble tickets from start to finish-creating, tagging, escalating, coordinating, and closing tickets in accordance withSLAs and KPIs.\nPerform first-level isolation and troubleshooting of alarms, outages, and service degradations.\nCoordinate with Customer Care, Field Operations, IT, and vendors to resolve incidents and customer-impacting issues.\nDispatch Field Operations for outages, alarms, and site facility issues, including managing schedules, work orders, and follow-ups.\nSupport Change Management by creating and monitoringPlanned Work Orders (PWOs), ensuring proper approvals, notifications, and post-implementation reviews.\nSend timelyoutage and maintenance notifications via email, Teams, chat groups, and SMS for planned and unplanned events.\nParticipate in incident escalations, War Rooms, and root cause investigations, including requesting and documenting Reasons for Outage (RFOs).\nPerform routine network quality checks to proactively identifyand prevent potential issues.\nMaintain detailed logs, shift handover reports, incident reports, and KPI performance documentation.\nEnsure monitoring tools, documentation, and network records are accurateand up to date.\nSupport and oversee Managed Services by validatingprocesses, reports, and monitoring integrity.\nAssistwith training staff, users, or customers when needed.\nContribute to continuous improvement of NOC policies, procedures, and workflows.\nWho We’re Looking For\nWe’researching for a sharp, detail-oriented problem-solver who stays cool under pressure and takes pride in keeping critical systems running smoothly.\nYou’ll thrive here if you’re:\nA network watchdogwho loves monitoring systems and catching issues before they escalate.\nA calm decision-makerwho can assess situations quickly and escalate appropriately.\nA strong communicatorwho works seamlessly with Customer Care, Field Ops, IT, and vendors.\nA team playerwho values clear handoffs, documentation, and collaboration across shifts.\nA tech-curious learnerwho adapts easily to evolving technologies and tools.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required.\nAssociate degree in Electronics & Communications, Computer Science, or equivalent military technical training; or\n4-5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry or service provider networks.\nExperience with Technology or Business Support Systems is a plus.\nTechnical Know-How:\nSolid understanding of telecommunications principles and network operations processes.\nBasic to intermediate knowledge of:\nMobile and fixed technologies (OSI model, switching, routing, wireless, RF, satellite).\nEMS, NMS, and OSS platforms.\nVideo systems, backend controllers, and quality analyzers.\nFamiliarity with Linux and Cisco environments.\nExperience or exposure to scripting or programming is a plus.\nComfortable working with desktop applications and multiple operating systems (Windows, UNIX/Linux).\nWhat You Bring\nPositive and energetic personality.\nStrong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.\nCalm and approachable under pressure.\nSelf-motivated and able to make sound decisions.\nProfessional, empathetic, and customer-focused communication style.\nWork Schedule\nThis is a full-time role that requires flexibility, including shift work, based on department and company needs.
