Working closely with the Warehouse Execution Supervisor and the Shipping/Receiving team, this position ensures all incoming, stored, and outgoing inventory is accurately tracked in Descartes Peoplevox and NetSuite and properly handled on the floor. The role is central to preventing inventory discrepancies, and if there is one, identifying and fixing the root cause.\nDoc’s is in a true scaling phase. That means we need builders - people who take ownership, move fast, solve problems, and want to help shape where the company goes next.\nThis is a strong fit for someone who wants responsibility, visible impact, and the chance to grow inside a business that is aiming much bigger.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain accurate inventory records across Descartes Peoplevox (WMS), NetSuite, and physical warehouse locations.\nPerform scheduled cycle counts and own full physical inventory audits.\nInvestigate, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and damages.\nIdentify root causes of discrepancies (receiving errors, mispicks, bin errors, system sync issues) and recommend process fixes.\nAlongside the Receiving team, verify incoming shipments for accuracy.\nTrack inventory movement using handheld computers, laptop, and our warehouse management system.\nOperate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely (required)\nCommunicate inventory issues, trends, and process improvement opportunities to the Operations Manager\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow safety standards and ensure compliance of OHSA regulation. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. \nAssist with special projects and support cross-functional teams\nQualifications\nExperience in inventory control\nExperience performing cycle counts, inventory audits, or resolving inventory discrepancies\nComputer skills with the ability to use inventory and warehouse management systems\nFamiliarity with hand scanners or barcode systems\nForklift experience or certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)\nStrong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through\nAbility to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment\nReliable, dependable, and able to work on-site daily\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nLifting:Regularly lift and move items up to 50 lbs; team lift or material handling equipment used for heavier loads.\nStanding/Walking/Sitting: Standing and walking for the majority of an 8-hour shift. Occasional sitting for computer work at a desk.\nDriving:We have 2 other warehouses that hold inventory, located within 1.5 miles of HQ.
