You will challenge our current tooling and AI/MT workflows, content ownership and governance models, integrate AI software development best practices, and leave behind a better process and toolset for multiple language markets, not just one.\nWhat you'll do\nYour responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nAudit the current end-to-end localization and translation workflow for our three main markets, from source content definition through engineering execution to linguistic QA, defining and implementing improvements for an updated localization process.\n\nEvaluate and evolve our use of machine translation and AI-assisted translation tooling, including glossary ownership and governance, content classification, and where and how human review fits in.\n\nDefine a vendor and tooling strategy for translation and linguistic quality a cross our language markets; updating our existing tool stack as needed.\n\nDesign and roll-out evolved processes in partnership with engineering, design, product, medical, and local go-to-market teams\n\nHand off a durable process and toolset by the end of the engagement.\n\nWho you are\nBefore you read on: if you don't have the exact profile described below, but you feel this job description matches your skill set, we still encourage you to apply.\nYou'll be a great fit if you:\nPrior experience as a Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, or Localization Operations Manager, with hands-on experience designing and implementing localization/internationalization tooling and MT/AI-assisted translation workflows.\n\nStrong proficiency in AI-native workflows as they relate to software development and content management. Can build tooling solutions, agents, and technical solutions where needed.\n\nExperience with multi-market, multi-language products at scale. Italian, French or German localization experience is a plus.\n\nTrack record of shipping quality, speed, or cost improvements to a localization or translation operation.\n\nStrong stakeholder management across design, engineering, and content teams.\n\nComfortable working independently on a fixed-term, outcome-driven engagement.\n\nProfessional working proficiency in English; fluency in Italian is a plus.\n\nOur interview process\nHiring Manager Interview (1 hour)\n\nCase Study & Restitution\n\nBehavioral Interview (1h30)\n\nAt least one reference check\n\nWe want your experience to be clear, respectful, and transparent.
