It's thus looking to engage dynamic Ethiopian talent to ensure the achievement of its goals.\nPurpose of the Position\nThe Hardware Supervisor oversees the execution of hardware engineering activities and is responsible for technical review and team control. The role ensures validation coverage, evidence quality and closure across assigned programmes, directs the execution of Hardware Engineers and Junior Hardware Engineers, and reviews the technical quality of their work.\nSuccess in this role is measured by team execution being technically reliable.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate test activities; review methods and results; ensure evidence is sufficient and actions close.\nOwn the overall validation programme, schedule, coverage and readiness evidence for new models and versions. \nReview performance test conclusions and ensure gaps are resolved.\nCoordinate resources for durability and endurance testing, and review failure disposition and closure.\nReview risk, evidence and corrective-action verification for water and environmental testing.\nReview evidence and approve component validation recommendations within delegated scope.\nReview change impact and validation completeness for replacement and alternative parts.\nReview software and firmware upgrade rollout plans, risks, traceability and closure.\nOwn rollout control across fleet and production, and own escalation. \nSupport and coach complex diagnosis, and review conclusions.\nLead multi-system diagnosis and determine the technical path to closure. \nChallenge root cause analysis quality, confirm the cause is proven, and verify closure.\nReview impact, validation coverage and implementation control for engineering change evaluation.\nCoordinate engineering change implementation and ensure controlled closure. \nLead escalations, technical reviews and corrective-action follow-up with suppliers and OEMs. \nReview and approve documentation quality, traceability and consistency.\nReview and standardise test procedures across the team. \nOwn team tool availability, method consistency and capability gaps for test and diagnostic equipment. \nOwn escalation quality and coordinate the cross-functional technical response to technical risk. \nConsolidate validation evidence and recommend technical readiness.\nPlan team workload, assign owners and track closure. \nDevelop L1 and L2 capability through coaching, review and feedback.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or closely related fields.\n1-3 years of experience in Hardware engineering, RND, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering.\nSustained demonstration of the L2 Hardware Engineer expectations — independent technical ownership, test planning, root cause analysis and technical recommendation — and readiness against the L3 expectations above.\nExperience diagnosing failures involving batteries, motors, controllers, VCUs, displays, chargers, wiring harnesses, sensors and other vehicle electrical systems.\nFamiliarity with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, power supplies and other test instruments.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.\nExperience coaching or guiding junior engineers.\nEffective communication skills and the ability to multitask.\nHow to
