To support our Shipmanagement at the next possible time, we are looking for a Newbuilding Project Manager (m/f/d).Your tasks and responsibilities\nReview and comment on specifications and drawings during initial project stages in cooperation with yards and designers\nSupport yards selection as well as contract and technical negotiations for newbuild projects\nNegotiate specifications, system drawings, and 3D reviews with yards together with the teams of owner's representives\nCoordinate daily newbuilding project activities, directly reporting to the Head of Newbuilding & Projects\nOrganize, review and negotiate proposals as well as supplier selection for onboard systems, ensuring compliance with company standards, reliability and optimized OPEX \nEvaluate technical solutions and suppliers regarding maintenance costs, maintainability, durability, regulatory compliance and operational usability\nReview and comment on drawings for approval in close cooperation with internal experts and project partners\nStay up to date with technical development in machinery systems \nLiaison with classification societies, flag state administrations and regulatory bodies\nMaintain close communication with site office teams, clarify technical issues, attend factory acceptance tests and seatrials and provide technical support to site teams until vessel delivery\nYour profile\nDegree in ship-engineering or a related field \nExtensive professional experience in a senior position as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer \nPrevious experience as a member of a newbuilding site team at a shipyard is an advantage\nBasic knowledge of business administration, including reporting\nStrong communication skills with fluency in English\nExcellent negotiation skills and the ability to adapt to different cultures and mentalities within the international shipbuilding market \nFlexibility and willingness to travel internationally\nOur benefits\na challenging and varied job with a lot of (personal) responsibility\na pleasant working atmosphere in a small and highly motivated, dynamic team with flat hierachies\na wide range of training programs as well as individual perspectives for further development \nan exclusive working environment at the Elbe with an in-house fitness area and company restaurant\nan attractive salary package with many offers for financial security, mobility and other financial benefits\nWe would like to welcome you on board!\nDo you think the position matches your expectations?
