Döhler Turkey is looking for "Teamlead R&D" to be employed in our Balıkesir Plant with the following qualifications;

Your Role

• Managing R&D laboratory operations and leading the R&D team, ensuring effective resource planning and team development,
• Leading new product and process development projects in line with business objectives and customer needs,
• Managing process development and quality improvement studies for existing products,
• Leading laboratory and pilot-scale trials and ensuring successful scale-up to industrial production,
• Driving the development of value added products and optimizing processes to improve product quality, efficiency and cost performance,
• Coordinating cross functional activities with Sales, Business Units, Purchasing, Production and Quality Control,
• Following technological innovations and identifying opportunities to implement new technologies and processes,
• Managing project priorities, timelines and resources to achieve defined objectives,
• Promoting continuous improvement, lean principles and 5S practices within R&D operations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering; a Master’s Degree is preferred,
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in R&D, product development or process development,
• Experience in drying and confectionery technologies, with a particular focus on jelly product formulation, process development and production,
• Previous experience in R&D, laboratory management or pilot-scale applications is an advantage,
• Experience in team management, project coordination or technical leadership is preferred,
• Knowledge of lean principles, 5S methodology and continuous improvement practices,
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an innovative and result-oriented mindset,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
• Good knowledge of MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage,
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments,
• Ability to take initiative, make decisions and manage multiple projects and priorities,
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing business needs,
• Willingness to travel when required.
