May require extended hours during close or audit periods.\nDÔEN is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Los Angeles. This hybrid position reports to the Sr. Accounting Manager and plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the accounting team while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records.\nWe are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, demonstrates a high level of accountability. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, analytical, and eager to contribute to a collaborative and mission-aligned environment.\nThe Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions, including maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to help drive accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.\nResponsibilities:\nPrepare, reconcile, and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.\nManage sales tax reporting and reconciliations\nMaintain fixed asset records, calculate depreciation, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.\nPrepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close activities in accordance with established timelines.\nMaintain the general ledger by ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded and properly documented.\nPerform daily bank and corporate credit card reconciliations, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded, properly supported, and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.\nAssist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and supporting schedules.\nSupport the budgeting and forecasting process by analyzing sales, gross margin, and operating expenses.\nMaintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready financial records while ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to support accounting initiatives, process improvements, audits, and other special projects as needed.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n2-4 years of progressive accounting experience.\nStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.\nExperience with ERP systems (NetSuite, preferred).\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nSkills
