A key to success for this position is the ability to collaborate with offshore and onshore personnel. The position will report to the Project Delivery Manager. If you are looking for a dynamic environment to learn and grow your career!\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Owner and focal point for assigned core business activities; Light Subsea Construction, Subsea Intervention, Decommissioning, Permanent Mooring Installation/Disconnection, Engineering Studies and Tenders) including lift rigging design and lift planning, equipment sea fastening design, and installation analyses specific to above core business initiatives; \nResponsible for the technical and commercial execution and close out of projects, estimates and tenders, all performed with relevant legislation, industry standards/best practices, and company policies;\nResponsible for creating and directing a functional project team of personnel and making sure that the team works together in an organized and efficient manner;\nLiaison with clients and regulatory bodies;\nEvaluation and management of vendors/subcontractors for services and/or equipment; \nEstablish and motivate the Project Team immediately after Project appointment;\nSuccessful planning and implementation of the project scope;\nSelection of essential equipment to execute project;\nSuccessful delivery of final project deliverables;\nBusiness acquisition support during bidding and bid/project hand over;\nPromotion of the company’s organizational culture, values and reputation with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies;\nExecuting and communicating necessary project documentation (Project Execution Plan, HSE Plan, Quality Plan, Bridging Documents);\nPromotion of the development of an excellent HSEQ culture and system that minimizes the risk of injury to personnel, the environment and equipment to ALARP levels (As Low As Reasonably Practical);\nExecution of all responsibilities according to lawful and ethical standards;\nVisit vessels and work sites on a regular basis in line with regional management visit plan;\nFollowing the Company Business Management System (BMS) and project management processes/procedures;\nInterfaces with all disciplines in the best interest of DOF Subsea;\nParticipate in Business Development and tender preparation activities as instructed by General Manager;\nComplete the tasks assigned timely and with the required quality.\nRequirements\nKey Qualifications and Experience:\nMinimum 10 yrs experience in leadership role within the Subsea or Offshore environment is essential (both offshore/onshore);\n5 - 10 years’ experience subsea project/installation engineering experience\nPost Secondary Education in Subsea/Oil & Gas Engineering (or equivalent);\n(Experience can compensate for lack of formal competency.)\nHighly confident, self motivated, and self-disciplined person with sound management; \nMust be able to perform and achieve at a high level with minimal supervision;\nResult oriented and be a motivator and mentor for the team while ensuring “industry best practice” is utilized and documented in the development of the technical/commercial delivery for projects, tenders, and studies.\nWorking Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Technical Specifications and Standards, regulatory standards, best practices, and design codes;\nSignificant Knowledge of the marine environment and technical challenges associated with executing offshore ROV construction works projects in these conditions; \nSignificant Knowledge of equipment System Integration Testing and functionality testing; project vessel mobilizations and demobilizations; subsea infrastructure components; installation and decommissioning of subsea infrastructure; deployment/recovery methodologies; equipment handling restrictions, testing requirements, etc.; DNV lifting and underwater deployment/recovery codes pertaining to marine operations; Analytical and technical capabilities specific to lowering analyses and rigging design; sea fastening design and analysis (vessel motions & structural design);\nProficient in Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems;\nExcellent interpersonal and organizational skills;\nExcellent communicator, reader, and writer;\nCapable of discussing issues and topics of importance at Senior Management Level;\nGood organizational skills and ability to multitask.\nSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
