Build a meaningful career in a workplace that puts people first.\nGo further, together.\nAs a Purchasing Assistant, you will supports day-to-day procurement operations by sourcing and purchasing spare parts, consumables, and services for operational assets. Coordinates with suppliers on orders, deliveries, and issues; arranges standard freight forwarding; maintains positive stakeholder and supplier relationships; monitors supplier performance and product availability; and ensures timely invoice payments and compliance with established procurement procedures.\n1. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport operational procurement of spare parts, consumables and/or services for one or more operational assets;\nForwards spares and other commodities for all types of forwarding modes except urgent\nContacts and problem-solves with vendors and suppliers; \nMaintain and further develop positive performance driven relationships between key business unit stakeholders and DOF procurement\nIdentify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure availability items and smooth operation on-board the vessel \nProvide input on supplier performance based on daily interaction \nEnsure timely payment of invoices \nAll roles and responsibilities should be performed in compliance to the standard process\nRequirements\nQualifications and Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, a technical discipline, or a related field relevant to the Marine, Oil and Gas industry. Relevant work experience may compensate for the lack of a formal degree.\n\nPrevious experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, or a related role, preferably within the Marine, Oil and Gas, or offshore industry.\n\nProficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nGood working knowledge of IT systems and procurement-related software.
