We design and manufacture our own products, which allows the company to maintain full control over quality and innovation. With a global presence, we have subsidiaries in Italy, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, China, India, Morocco and Japan, and distributes its products to over 70 countries.

We are looking for a Product Engineer with at least ten years of experience in mechanical design applied to the automotive sector. The ideal candidate is methodical, proactive, and has strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of cooling circuits for internal combustion engines will be considered a preferred asset. The selected candidate will join the Technical Design Office Team.

ESSENTIAL TASKS

  • Design and develop automotive products in line with customer requirements and project specifications.

  • Analyze customer requests and prepare feasibility studies for new products and applications.

  • Provide technical support to customers in product selection, application definition, and problem-solving activities.

  • Manage technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, supporting effective decision-making.

  • Prepare production drawings, technical specifications, tolerances, and product bills of materials.

  • Support the Sales Department in product cost estimation and technical evaluation of commercial opportunities.

  • Plan and organize assigned design activities independently, preparing timing plans and monitoring project progress.

  • Collaborate with the Experimental Laboratory, Production, and Quality departments to support development, validation, and production phases.

  • Prepare and manage technical documentation related to DFMEA, Product Validation Plans, IATF requirements, and APQP practices.

  • Prepare product presentations and contribute to cross-functional and international project activities, including short business trips abroad when required.

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Education: Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Hydraulic or similar.

  • Years of experience: 8/10 years experience in related positions, automotive preferred

  • Languages: High level of both oral and written English.

  • Other skills: Knowledge in plastic materials and related molding processes. Preferred knowledge of cooling circuits for internal combustion engines, experience with 3D design software (CREO preferably, Good level of Microsoft Office Suit (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).

  • Personal skills/abilities:Strong negotiation, proactivity and team-orientation.
