This role supports packaging assets including automated fillers, seamers, conveyors, labelers, cartoners, case packers, palletizers, and associated utilities.\nCurrent openings are for our Night Shift (5:45PM - 6:00 AM).\nWe offer two night-shift schedules:\nSunday through Tuesday, plus every other Saturday (C12)\nWednesday through Friday, plus every other Saturday (D12)\nPlease note: Candidates must be available for either schedule, including the alternating Saturdays.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDiagnose and repair high-speed packaging equipment, including: Bottle and can fillers\nCan seamers / roll-through seamers\nLabelers, date coders, and inspection systems\nDepalletizers, rinsers, packers, and palletizers\nConveyors, motors, photo eyes, stop gates, sensors, and diverters\n\nPerform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on packaging line components such as: Bearings, belts, gearboxes, couplings, chain drives, VFDs, and servo systems\nPneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, valves, manifolds, and lubrication systems\n\nTroubleshoot process/product nonconformances through root cause analysis, including but not limited to: Loose seams / double seams\nFill volume\nContainer pressure \nLabel & date code application \nLine jams / accumulation\n\nRead mechanical drawings, schematics, and piping diagrams to support equipment checks, changeovers, and overhauls.\nSupport preventive and predictive maintenance programs for packaging assets.\nWork safely around conveyors, rotating machinery, high voltage (480V), confined spaces, and elevated work platforms. \nSafely operate forklifts and aerial lift equipment.\nWhat Ingredients You’ll Bring:\nRequired Experience:\nHigh-speed manufacturing in food & beverage, brewery, soda, dairy, or similar facility.\nHands-on packaging line maintenance (not building maintenance, HVAC, facilities, or only PMs).\nExperience troubleshooting:Fillers, seamers, labelers, packers, or palletizers \nSensors, photo-eyes, limit switches \nVFDs, PLC I/O, HMI alarms\n\nMechanical power transmission and pneumatic/hydraulic knowledge.Awareness of NFPA 70E electrical safety principles. \n\nPreferred Experience:\nSetup, overhaul, & advanced troubleshooting of Ferrum, Angelus, Krones, KHS, Sidel, Douglas, GPI, Pearson, Lantech, or similar OEMs. \nPrior use of a CMMS (Maximo experience a plus). \nNFPA 70E Certification. \nPrecision machining & fabrication.\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:\nLift up to 50lbs, climb stairs, crawl under equipment, work on elevated platforms, work in confined spaces, stand for long durations.\nWork safely around high noise, moving equipment, forklifts, hot/cold areas, at heights, and wet floors. \nMust wear required PPE.\nLevel: 8\nIn accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $34.78/hr.
