We need a Mechanical Technician who can build things that work, keep them running, and source what we need to move fast.\nWhat You Will Do\nAssemble and integrate mechanical and electronic systems for new product development, including automated systems, sub-systems, and wearables for dogs.\nDiagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and 3D printers; conduct routine testing and calibration to keep custom-built systems at peak performance.\nBuild and test prototypes at low volume, support in-house moulding operations, and learn apparel stitching for custom harness and wearable fabrication.\nSource and procure components, manage vendor relationships, and maintain accurate inventory and BOM records across project timelines.\nDocument assemblies, integration processes, troubleshooting steps, and all hardware compliance records.\nWhat Success Looks Like (6 Months)\nHardware builds ship on time with zero rework cycles caused by assembly error.\nThe lab is well-stocked, vendors are reliable, and procurement happens without friction.\nSystems stay up.
