This person will combine strong technical craft with business understanding. These solutions pay out tens of millions of pounds monthly, and have a material impact on dojo’s commercial performance.\nWhat you will do...\nOwn your analytics engineering work stream end to end, transforming stakeholder needs into robust, scoped data products.\nBuild performant, cost-conscious data pipelines in BigQuery using dbt, and design insightful data visualisation\nDevelop scalable, performant, and reliable pipeline orchestrations using Airflow, dbt, Airbyte, and Fivetran.\nUse Python to automate workflows, validate data quality, and streamline analytical operations.\nContribute to shared standards, design reusable metrics, and actively pay down technical debt to keep our platform healthy.\nLeverage AI tools responsibly to accelerate modelling, testing, and documentation without losing technical ownership.\nWhat you will bring...\nDriven by technical quality, motivated by business impact\nA background in analytical engineering, data engineering, or a related data-focused role.\nStrong SQL skills and hands-on expertise building models with dbt.\nExperience with cloud data warehousing (preferably BigQuery) and BI platforms (ideally Looker).\nFamiliarity with orchestration systems like Airflow and ingestion tools like Airbyte or Fivetran.\nPractical Python skills to support automation and testing workflows.\nSound judgment regarding data quality, maintainability, and the ability to independently guide technical decisions.\nDojo home and away\nWe believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person.
