Eight years in and expanding.\nWe are hiring a Front End Developer to join our Singapore development team and work directly with experienced colleagues and the founders. This role suits someone early in their career who wants to grow into a strong engineer.\nOur codebase is not a typical simple React website. Most workflows and dashboards are generated by our in-house developed form engine and component framework with complex components and orchestration rather than hard-coded JSX. The app works offline, with local state and optimistic cache updates that sync when the device reconnects. You won’t know all this on day one, and we don’t expect you to. We will teach you. What we need is solid fundamentals, curiosity, and the patience to learn and work through hard problems. In return, you’ll grow fast as an engineer.\nYou will start on well-scoped challenges supported by the team, then take on more as you learn the platform. Your work will be used in the field within weeks.\n\nWhat you will do:\nWork with our form engine to configure and extend screens and workflows\nBuild and maintain React components and features\nFull lifecycle: design, prototype, build, unit and release testing across devices\nAnalyse production issues and fix bugs\nWhat we are looking for:\n1+ years of hands-on React experience. Strong graduates and bootcamp alumni with real projects are welcome\nGood grasp of modern JavaScript (ES6+): async/await, promises, array and object handling\nUnderstanding of React state, props, hooks and component lifecycle\nExposure to Final-form, GraphQL/Apollo, Material-UI and Redux is a plus\nWillingness to read and understand existing code before changing it\nYou use AI tools to work faster, not to think for you. We use Claude Enterprise. You need to understand the problem and the suggested code, then fit the change cleanly into the existing codebase. Leave it better than you found it, not more complicated. We don’t vibe code. Sustainable code needs critical thinking and real understanding.\nAttention to detail\nClear written and spoken English\nNice to have:\nFamiliarity with UX design standards such as Material Design\nAny experience with AWS (Lambda, AppSync, Cognito)\nReact Native or mobile app experience\nFrench or Mandarin (for app and support translation)\nHow we work\nYou will be part of a cross-functional team with a flat structure and shared responsibility for the app. We work hybrid: three fixed office days (Tuesday,Wednesday and Friday) and two from home.
