Traditionally, this process was partially outsourced; we are now establishing this capability internally and strengthening our PnR team.\nWe're looking for a Physical Implementation Engineer (F/M) to work alongside our current PnR expert, job based in Meylan (France).\nAs a Physical Implementation Engineer (F/M), your main responsibilities will include:\nDeveloping, validating, and maintaining PnR scripts (TCL) used for the physical implementation of our IPs-particularly on the Meerkat product line-including non-regression testing setup.\n\nTaking charge of the full physical implementation of digital-on-top test chips for IP verification (place & route, clock tree synthesis, timing closure, sign-off STA) on advanced technology nodes (currently 22/12 nm, down to 6 nm long-term), working closely with internal and subsidiary analog/mixed-signal IP teams.\n\nWorking closely with our PnR/flow expert across the entire scope before independently taking ownership of specific projects.\n\nHandling Level 3 technical support requests regarding complex issues rarely covered in vendor documentation.\n\nContributing to integration documentation and reporting to the project manager and technical lead.\n\nDepending on your preference: on-site support missions at customer sites in Asia and the United States.\n\nYou're about to become a dolphin...\n4 to 5 years of experience in physical implementation (PnR), with strong autonomy in Tcl scripting.\n\nHands-on experience with at least one major EDA environment: Cadence (Innovus, Tempus) or Synopsys (Fusion Compiler, PrimeTime). Training on the other environment will be provided if needed.\n\nProfessional English proficiency (written and spoken) to interact with international stakeholders.\n\nStrong mastery of the physical implementation flow (PnR).\n\nStatic Timing Analysis (STA) and sign-off; middle-end expertise is a plus.\n\nTcl scripting: fully autonomous.\n\nPython, Shell, and C-shell.\n\nLinux environment.\n\nSoft Skills:\nRigor and precision.\n\nCollaborative spirit and teamwork.\n\nStrong customer relationship skills, with the ability to articulate and share technical analyses.\n\nAptitude for knowledge sharing and mentoring.\n\nBenefits of becoming a Dolphin:\nJoin a small-to-medium-sized company backed by the JOLT investment fund.\n\nCompensation package: fixed salary (based on experience), profit-sharing, meal vouchers, health insurance and provident plan.\n\nLocated in a \"green zone for intellectual capital,\" our company is committed to sustainable mobility, with a strong emphasis on cycling.
