Review the position below and apply today.\nAt this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer or sponsor a work visa or employment authorization for this position.\nJob Summary\nUnder direction utilizes strong, critical thinking skills to identify and assess suspicious activity, intelligence, and security incidents at company facilities and assets.\nWorks with more experienced analyst to perform structured analysis of energy-related, event data, to determine threats, vulnerabilities, trends, and impacts to energy infrastructure.\nMonitors security and crime trends at company locations, and throughout the energy industry. Documents research and analysis in written reports.\nAssists with oral intelligence briefings on incidents and threats impacting energy infrastructure.\nAssists with conducting open-source research, and assesses incoming threat streams, to develop accurate conclusions and appropriate recommendations for security response.\nMonitors and shares threat alerts, warnings, and advisories with key internal and external stakeholders.\nCommunicates regularly with other energy analysts, government fusion centers, law enforcement at local, state, and federal levels, and regulatory agencies, sharing information on physical threats, vulnerabilities, incidents, and potential protective measures.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience\nIntelligence analysis experience or education preferred preferred, or experience or education in corporate security, intelligence, law enforcement, or regulatory agency or organization.\nKnowledge of security issues and critical infrastructure protection with an energy company.\nKnowledge of research methodology and analytic techniques.\nDemonstrated understanding of security concepts and sophisticated security technologies.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills, to provide in-person intelligence briefings to internal and external stakeholders.\nDemonstrated, sound security leadership, decision-making, and critical thinking. \nAbility to monitor, assess, and report on security incidents.\nAbility to conduct detailed, threat analyses.\nAbility to report to internal and external stakeholders, using the appropriate degree of urgency.\nAbility to manage the flow of sensitive, intelligence information.\nAbility to understand the assessment of security risks.\nAbility to work independently, and to achieve results with little supervision.\nAbility to maintain the utmost professionalism and confidentiality\nAbility to obtain government-issued security clearance, as required.\nEducation Requirements\nMust be pursuing a bachelor's degree and majoring in Emergency Management, Data Analytics, Economics, International Affairs, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or related security background \nMust have an anticipated graduation date in the fall of 2028 to the fall of 2029 \nMust have a 3.0 GPA or higher.\nTest Description\nNo Testing Required\nExport Control\nCertain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
