Review the position below and apply today.\nAt this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer or sponsor a work visa or employment authorization for this position.\nJob Summary\nDominion Energy is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to support operations, maintenance, and engineering activities across the company's power generation fleet based in Richmond, VA.\nThe intern will work with engineering and station teams supporting stations in Chesapeake, Covington, and Surry, Virginia. This role provides hands-on experience in power generation while contributing to projects that support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of generating assets.\nThe intern will assist with data collection and analysis, equipment inspections, project research, process improvement initiatives, and technical documentation. Opportunities may include supporting plant systems, evaluating equipment performance, and participating in engineering, maintenance, and operational projects across multiple generating stations.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to learn and apply engineering concepts in a power generation environment\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nDemonstrated initiative and willingness to learn.\nEducation Requirements\nEducation Level:\nCurrently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.\nPreferences in Discipline: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering\nMust have an expected graduation date of Fall 2028 or 2029.\nMust have a 3.0 GPA or above.\nWorking Conditions\nLoud Noise Up to 25%\nOffice Work Environment 51-75%\nOutdoors Up to 25%\nTravel Up to 25%\nTest Description\nNo Testing Required\nExport Control\nCertain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
