The positions are located at Dominion’s Millstone Power Station in Waterford, CT. The positions will be performing Fire Protection and/or Electrical Environmental Qualification work such as:\nEvaluating regulatory documentation and fire protection systems and equipment\nPerforming fire protection related walkdowns\nInterpreting and implementing code and regulatory requirements and evaluating program/system dependencies.\nThis internship will involve assisting the fire protection program owner with developing and implementing program improvements.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience\nExperience with Microsoft Office products is desired. Proficiency in MS Excel with Macros is preferred.\nKnowledge of programming and analysis is preferred\nMust be able to follow instructions and be a team player.\nMust have strong verbal and written communication skills.\nSolid engineering skills, commensurate with grade level.\nGood communication skills, technical writing skills, and computer skills.\nAn inquisitive nature, an ability to follow written and verbal directions, and strong professional ethics\nEducation Requirements\nMust be a student studying Mechanical or Materials Engineering at an ABET accredited 4-year college or university\nStudent must shave an anticipated graduation in December 2028 or later\nGPA of 3.0 or higher\nTest Description\nNo Testing Required\nExport Control\nCertain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
