This role is responsible for specifying technical and quality requirements for materials and services in support of nuclear plant operations. The primary duties and responsibilities include:\nPerform general technical and quality assurance duties in support of nuclear procurements as defined in EPRI NP-6629 Guidelines for the Procurement and Receipt of Items for Nuclear Power Plants\nPerform procurement engineering support activities including evaluation, research, and analysis of procurement requirements of materials and services\nAbility to apply fundamental engineering principles and techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out sequence of engineering related tasks\nApply data analytics to performance and quality systems, including human performance, material quality and technical support of audits of vendor programs.\nThe incumbent can complete routine assignments and tasks with limited supervision and direction\nBring innovation to daily job performance, including analysis & evaluation of systems and equipment in use, resulting in process improvements, and programs for assurance that modification, operation, and maintenance is in accordance with Company policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nTravel to North Anna and Surry Power Stations as needed.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience\nStudent obtaining a degree in electrical engineering or related fields\nMust be able to effectively manage time to allow for regular work items and emergent priorities\nAbility to change direction in job scope to react to plant needs quickly\nWorking knowledge in the operation and application of personal computers and software programs\nMust have excellent technical writing skills\nAbility to apply, with limited guidance, engineering theories and concepts to effectively address problems\nEducation Requirements\nMust be working towards an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree from a 4 year college or university.\nMust have a graduation date of Spring 2028.\nMust have a GPA of 2.5 or above.\nTest Description\nNo Testing Required\nExport Control\nCertain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
