Review the position below and apply today.\nAt this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer or sponsor a work visa or employment authorization for this position.\n Job Summary\nWe are currently seeking one Summer 2027 Electrical Engineering intern at Millstone Power Station in Waterford, CT.\nThis System Engineering role includes monitoring and support to the major Electrical Distribution and Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems needed for operation of a large electrical power generating plant.\nControl system examples include Main Turbine Controls, Feedwater system controls, and nuclear reactor controls including control rod drive and digital rod position indication. Electrical distribution includes 480VAC, 120VAC, 125VDC, and also large oil cooled power transformers\nActivities will include monitoring and trending of system performance, equipment inspections, evaluation of component performance, system walkdowns, corrective actions and component troubleshooting.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience\nKnowledge of basic electrical theories and principles is required.\nExperience with Microsoft Office products is desired. Proficiency in MS Excel with Macros is preferred.\nMust be able to follow instructions and be a team player.\nMust have strong verbal and written communication skills.\nSolid engineering skills, commensurate with grade level.\nGood communication skills, technical writing skills, and computer skills.\nAn inquisitive nature, an ability to follow written and verbal directions, and strong professional ethics\nEducation Requirements\nMust be a student studying Electrical, I&C, Electrical and computer, or Nuclear Engineering with an electrical focus at an ABET accredited engineering program at a 4-year college or university\nMust have a graduation date of fall 2028 or later \nMust have a 3.0 GPA or higher\nTest Description\nNo Testing Required\nExport Control\nCertain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
