Review the position below and apply today.\nAt this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer or sponsor a work visa or employment authorization for this position.\nThis position does not offer relocation assistance.\n Job Summary\nThis position oversees the night shift monitoring and operational response teams for critical IT-Telecommunications Infrastructure including Transport (Fiber and Microwave), Data Networks, and Circuits, supporting all Dominion Energy business areas. Supervises activities of highly skilled group of IT Network Operations Analysts. Arranges for necessary proactive and corrective actions, to ensure high service availability of the IT network, distributed data networks and systems serving mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, technical knowledge of Telecommunications Infrastructure as well as excellent communications skills.\nWork Schedule Requirements: This position participates in an alternating remote Saturday on-call rotation to provide operational support and ensure continuity of services. Employees assigned to the rotation are expected to be available remotely during their scheduled on-call Saturdays and respond to issues or requests as needed.\n Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience\n5 years related IT-Infrastructure experience from previous project role(s) Network Analyst or Network Engineering experience desired.\nAbility to make decisions independently, exercise independent judgment and decision-making in assessing network related impact to businesses.\nExperience leading people or teams and/or supervisory experience preferred.\nProvide assistance, advice, and help guide solutions with co-workers. \nExperience supporting and communicating with senior executives or C-suite personnel is preferred.\nFunction as an escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring minimal MTTR for impacted locations and services. \nWill identify, recommend, and implement better work alternatives and business processes.\nReview network status, tickets, and coordinate work assignments, and monitors team’s metrics and results.\nCreate an inclusive team environment characterized by productivity, effective network issue resolution.\nThis position will include limited out-of-state travel. \nDemonstrated general project management skills.\nUnderstanding and familiarity with business partner priorities and concerns.\nStrong commitment to employee development and growth.\nStrong technical knowledge of Telecommunications Transport and Data Network connectivity.\nKnowledge of overall company organization and business.\nFamiliarity with ITSM processes (incident, problem, event correlation, and change management) and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.\nExperience with AI-driven observability platforms and tools to monitor network health, reduce alert noise, and accelerate issue detection and resolution is highly desired.\n Education Requirements\nBachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education.\nPreferred Disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Business or technical training equivalent.\nOther disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.\nLicenses, Certifications, or Quals Description\nWorking Conditions\nOffice Work Environment 76 -100%\nTravel Up to 25%\nOther Working Conditions\nThe normal work schedule for this position consists of three 12-hour shifts per week. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and work location.
