Delivery Driver - 105 Long Rd

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team at our Chesterfield, United States location (105 Long Rd). In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages and goods to customers throughout the Chesterfield area and surrounding regions. You will represent our organization with every interaction, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of service and punctuality.

• Operate delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet daily delivery targets and customer time windows
• Load, unload, and secure packages and goods in the delivery vehicle
• Obtain customer signatures and handle payment transactions as required
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation, including delivery confirmations and customer feedback
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or damage
• Communicate professionally with customers and address any delivery-related inquiries or concerns
• Navigate using GPS and delivery management systems to optimize routes and track progress
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times
• Meet performance metrics including on-time delivery rates and customer satisfaction standards

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role
• Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and basic maintenance
• Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and delivery management software
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and load packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently
• Familiarity with local Chesterfield area roads and geography (preferred)
• Experience with handheld delivery confirmation devices (preferred)
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for larger vehicle operations (preferred)
