You will be the face of our organization, ensuring every delivery is completed on time and with care.\nOperate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations\nPlan and execute optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times\nLoad, unload, and transport packages of varying sizes and weights to customer locations\nObtain customer signatures and handle payment transactions as required\nMaintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery documentation and mileage logs\nPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition\nCommunicate professionally with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving delivery issues promptly\nReport any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents to management immediately\nMaintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times\nMeet daily and weekly delivery targets while maintaining quality service standards\n Valid driver's license with a clean driving record\nProven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role\nStrong knowledge of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety protocols\nProficiency with GPS and navigation systems\nExcellent time management and organizational skills\nStrong customer service and interpersonal skills\nAbility to lift, carry, and handle packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly\nAttention to detail with accurate record-keeping and documentation abilities\nReliable transportation and punctuality\nProfessional communication skills, both verbal and written\nProblem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing delivery schedules\nFamiliarity with local Bethalto area roads and neighborhoods (preferred)\n
