Delivery Driver - 207 West Winters St

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team at our Scott AFB location (207 West Winters St). As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. • Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes within the Scott AFB area and surrounding neighborhoods
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and local knowledge to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and handling transactions with accuracy and courtesy
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions or issues
• Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues, cleanliness, and safety compliance; report maintenance needs promptly
• Handle packages and products with care, ensuring items arrive in excellent condition
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, or customer concerns
• Follow all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and vehicle operation guidelines
• Build positive relationships with customers and represent the organization's commitment to quality and reliability
• Organize and manage delivery schedules to meet daily targets while maintaining flexibility for urgent requests

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving history
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Physical capability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Familiarity with the Scott AFB area and local roads is a plus
• Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic mobile technology
• Valid proof of insurance for personal vehicle used for delivery
• A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to team communication
