We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Mounds View, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers while representing our company with professionalism and courtesy.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locations
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all items
- Follow optimized routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon package receipt
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding route updates or delays
- Wages range from $15-25 with tips and mileage included with hourly wage
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and mobile devices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions (if applicable)
- Familiarity with the Mounds View area and surrounding regions preferred
- Previous delivery or courier experience is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations on the road
