As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and with a smile, contributing to our reputation for excellent service.\nSafely and efficiently deliver pizza and other menu items to customers within the designated delivery area\nProvide exceptional customer service, representing Domino's Pizza in a professional and friendly manner\nProcess customer payments accurately and handle cash responsibly\nAssist with in-store duties during non-delivery times, including answering phones, taking orders, and preparing food items\nMaintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to food safety standards during transport\nNavigate efficiently using maps, GPS, and local knowledge to ensure timely deliveries\nCommunicate effectively with store staff and customers to resolve any issues or special requests\nAdapt to varying weather conditions and peak delivery times with a positive attitude\nContribute to a team-oriented work environment by assisting colleagues as needed\n Valid driver's license with a minimum of one year of continuous driving history and a clean driving record\nReliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nExcellent navigational skills and familiarity with the Thornton area and surrounding neighborhoods\nStrong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple deliveries efficiently\nExceptional customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities\nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written\nBasic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions\nProficiency in using technology such as GPS, smartphones, and order processing systems\nPhysical stamina to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds, including the ability to navigate stairs and various terrains\nFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required\nTeam player mentality with a willingness to assist with in-store duties as needed\n Stooping/Bending\nForward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station.\nToe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station.\nDuration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day.\nForward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.\nCrouching/Squatting\nPerformed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.\nReaching\nReaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward.\nWorkers reach above 72\" occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves.\nWorkers reaching down to perform such tasks as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or washing dishes.\nWorkers reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.\nHand Tasks\nEye-hand coordination is essential. Use of hands is continuous during the day.\nFrequently activities require use of one or both hands.\nShaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists.\nWorkers must manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using the rolling cutter.\nFrequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.\nTeam Members must be able to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.\nMachines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids\nTeam Members may be required to utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.\nDRIVING SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES\nDeliver product by car and then to door of customer.\nREQUIRES\nValid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.\nAccess to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.\nESSENTIAL SKILLS\nNavigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.\nMust navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nCarrying\nDuring delivery, carry pizzas and beverages while performing \"walking\" and \"climbing\" duties.\nDriving\nDeliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
