If this sounds like a brand you’d like to be a part of, consider joining our team!\n Summary: The supervisor oversees a team of drivers [Class A and B] delivering to Domino’s\nPizza stores. The supervisor is responsible for scheduling drivers, routing trucks, reviewing trip\nsheets for accuracy and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, state, local laws, and\ncompany policies and programs. Effectively and efficiently handle customer complaints and\nconcerns. Train new drivers in job duties, safely, and complete Job Safety Observations (JSO).\nThe supervisor must be comfortable working in a diverse, fast paced environment.\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES\nLeadership:\nRecruit, interview, select, and mentor new and tenured drivers\nSupport driver engagement initiatives\nMonitor drivers performance and hold accountable when performance is below expectations, using coaching and/or progressive discipline, as needed\nComplete driver’s annual performance reviews\nReview driver’s lytx and logs and coach according to company\nCollaborate in drivers onboarding and training\nEnsure safe work environment in compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, company standards, local, state, and federal requirements\nEffectively communicate day-to-day with drivers, departments and vendors\nCreate positive environment, morale and respect among team members\nAttend and participate in classroom or virtual Leadership & Development trainings\nCoordinate safety/team/quarterly meetings\nReporting/Budget:\nPrepare and assist with Transportation generated reports\nMonitor budget and fuel cards to ensure funds are maximized\nParticipate in the development of budgets\nRouting, Scheduling, Hours of Service, and Maintenance:\nWeekly schedule driver routes and re-routing as necessary to ensure route coverage\nConduct route analysis and recommend saving opportunities to Manager\nMonitor driver hours of service via onboard system\nConduct route observations to ensure Drivers are safely performing their duties as required by company and DOT standards (The numbers of observations per period are determined by the number of drivers at the SCC)\nMaintain and monitor food safety standards in compliance with company and franchisee requirements\nPerform payroll duties when necessary and review driver payroll for accuracy\nMonitor mis-deliveries, and make recommendations to Manager on avoidance strategies\nMaintain driver qualification file\nSchedule truck maintenance and maintain fleet image\nConduct accident investigations\nCoordinate deliveries and backhauls activities\nAssist the Transportation Manager with truck leasing meetings to ensure PMs are met to Domino’s standard and repairs are completed in a timely manner\nPerform other duties as assigned by leadership\nAs needed, if qualified, drive company vehicle or straight truck for deliveries or to leasing company for service/maintenance, and on occasion work the yard\nCustomer Relations:\nAnswer Slice of Pie complaints and keep leadership informed of findings\nMaintain positive customer relationships\nCustomer Surveys\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, climb stairs, and lift to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. on occasion\nAbility to bend, twist, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift\nAbility to work in extreme temperatures (non-airconditioned warehouse), both indoors and outdoors, including refrigerated conditions [33-38]\nAbility to work in environment with exposure to loud machinery\nMust be able to work around yeast and flour\n High School Diploma, some college hours, 2-year degree preferred\n2-3 years of documented supervisory experience\n2-3 years route scheduling experience\nKnowledge of Department of Transportation, FMSCA rules and regulations\nMS Office, SAP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), computers, and scanner equipment/software\nWillingness to support a 24-hour operation, including carrying an emergency cell phone as needed\nResults-oriented with strong organizational, decision making and people skills\nSuccessfully pass a background check every third year on your anniversary date\nCommercial Driver’s License Class A, a plus\n Domino's Team USA stores value honesty, transparency, and accountability, and we want exceptional people like you to join our team!
