This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to manage contractual, commercial, regulatory, and operational risks while enabling business growth. The successful candidate will combine strong contract management expertise, sound business judgement, and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to strategic initiatives and complex commercial transactions. Qualified candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN office.\nRole Responsibilities:\nDraft, review, negotiate, and administer a broad range of commercial agreements.\nManage contracts throughout the contract lifecycle, including intake, negotiation, execution, amendment, renewal, and termination.\nPartner with business stakeholders to assess contractual obligations, identify risks, and recommend practical solutions that align with company objectives.\nReview proposals, purchase orders, statements of work, terms and conditions, and related documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.\nIdentify and escalate significant legal, regulatory, compliance, financial, and commercial risks as appropriate.\nCollaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Global Trade Compliance teams to address contractual and regulatory requirements.\nSupport government contracting activities and assist with compliance related to export controls, sanctions, licensing requirements, and related matters.\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance contract templates, playbooks, procedures, training materials, and related contracting resources while driving continuous improvement of contract management processes, tools, and operational efficiencies.\nDeliver contract-related training and guidance to business stakeholders to promote consistency and risk awareness across the organization.\nDrive process improvement initiatives that increase contracting efficiency, reduce risk, and support business scalability.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree\n7+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering commercial contracts.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong understanding of commercial contracting principles.\nJuris Doctor (JD), paralegal certification, NCMA certification, or other relevant professional credentials.\nExperience supporting manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or other technical businesses.\nExperience with U.S. federal, state, or local government contracts.\nFamiliarity with US Government acquisition regulations (FAR & DFAR) and federal contracting requirements.\nExperience with privacy and cybersecurity provisions in contracts\nExperience with export controls, trade compliance, or international commercial agreements.\nExcellent written, verbal, analytical, and negotiation skills.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.\nRelocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.\nAnnual Salary Range: $111,840 -139,800.
