Join a culture of collaboration and innovation that matters and a chance to learn, effect change, and make meaningful contributions at work and in communities.\nKey Accountabilities:\nLeading projects for engineering changes in existing hydraulic filtration products through Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) or Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).\nCarrying out all project management activities from change initiation to implementation for various types of engineering changes, such as qualifying new suppliers, new materials, new tooling for plastic parts, cost reduction, and design changes.\nCommunicating and collaborating with project leaders, application engineers, sales representatives, suppliers, procurement teams, quality engineers, and production engineers to implement engineering changes or develop optimal solutions to problems.\nUtilizing Oracle Business Intelligence to obtain required information about products and product supply.\nReviewing engineering drawings and providing design guidance and input on plastic, rubber, and sheet metal products.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams (CFT) to resolve engineering issues in accordance with drawing standards and manufacturing feasibility.\nDemonstrating knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) workflow cycles.\nProficient in software tools such as NX, Creo, Teamcenter, ARAS Innovator and Oracle BI.\nProviding design guidance and recommending alternative solutions as required.\nDemonstrating design knowledge of hydraulic filtration systems and supporting the development of design drawings to achieve technical objectives consistent with established guidelines, customer requirements, anddesign specifications.\nDemonstrating knowledge of ECR, ECO/ECN, drafting, PPAP, DVP&R, dimensional reports, SPC, and testing & validation protocols.\nEducation Qualification:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, Advanced degree preferred.\nknowledge of NX (NX11 is preferred), Creo, Teamcenter PLM, ARAS Innovator and SharePoint a plus.\nProficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint\n Technical Competence & Skills:\nUnderstanding of industry design standards for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.\nExperience with sheet metal and plastic part design\nKnowledge of injection, blow, rotational & rubber molding process\nKnowledge of sheet metal pressing & fabrication process\nFamiliarity with ECR/ECO/ECN, Drafting, PPAP, DVP&R, Dimensional Reports, SPC, XFMEA, Testing & Validation protocols.\nAble to communicate effectively at a global level.\nProficiency in organizing, planning, and coordinating with the Global Team to meet customer expectations.\nLeadership Competence:\nInherit Donaldson core values of Integrity, respect & commitment.\nProactive towards identifying the issues and solving the problems.\nIndividual leadership.\nProject Management skills \nRelevant Experience:\n4+ years of professional Engineering, Engineering Tech or Engineering Design work experience.\nExperience in Mobile Hydraulic Filtration products.\nOthers (% of travel, language, etc.):\nAbility to travel approximately 10% per year.\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret the engineering documents (drawings, engineering specifications).\nAbility to respond timely & effectively to the critical inquiries / technical issues or complaints.\nAbility to make effective presentations on regular updates & critical issues to global team.\nAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide variety of global personnel.\nAbility to work flexible hours.\nEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
