In this position, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, support manufacturability of new products, and collaborate cross-functionally to develop safe, standardized, and cost-effective manufacturing solutions. Qualified candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Nicholasville office/facility.\nRole Responsibilities:\nEvaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.\nDevelops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.\nImproves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.\nAssures product and process quality by designing testing methods.\nModify equipment to ensure safety and efficiency in the production line.\nDevelop and update operating instructions for standardized and safe use of equipment.\nProvides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.\nPrepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.\nProvide technical support to developers to ensure developed processes and products function as required and are manufacturable.\nOther duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelors degree\n3+ years experience in a Manufacturing environment\nLean, Kaizen or Six Sigma experience\nPreferred:\nCAD (NX or Solidworks), TeamCenter, Oracle, Microsoft Office Tools, CNC Programming (Radan or Sigmanest)\nSelf-motivated and driven\nAbility to lead others and work independently\nGood problem-solving and analytical skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nImmigration Sponsorship Not Available:\nApplicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.). \nDonaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position. \nInternational relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered. \nEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
