Join a culture of collaboration and innovation that matters and a chance to learn, effect change, and make meaningful contributions at work and in communities.\nEngineer Principal - Compressed Air Purification (APAC)\nThe Engineer Principal is responsible for developing and executing standard and engineered Compressed Air Purification Solutions for the APAC region, working closely with global engineering teams, regional sales, and manufacturing partners to deliver high-quality, customer-centric solutions.\nThe position leads to the engineering execution of customized customer projects, including technical solution development, design validation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that meets both customer needs and Donaldson's quality standards.\nRole Responsibilities:\nAdapt and localize existing global products and system designs to meet APAC customer, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.\nDevelop engineered solutions for Compressed Air Purification Applications.\nTranslate customer requirements into technical designs and specifications.\nLead technical project execution, including planning, coordination, timeline, and cost management.\nCreate and maintain 3D models, drawings, and bills of materials for system solutions.\nProvide technical guidance to sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams.\nSupport root cause analysis and resolution of customer issues and product quality concerns.\nMaintain and continuously improve standard products through engineering change and lifecycle management processes.\nEnsure compliance with applicable safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.\nWillingness and ability to travel within APAC (up to 15%).\nKey Qualifications:\nEducation Qualification:\nBachelor's degree or above in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nRelevant Experience\n8 years of experience in an industrial engineering role\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.\nTechnical Competence & Skills:\nExperience in adapting global product designs to meet regional market, regulatory, or manufacturing requirements.\nExperience translating customer requirements into technical solutions and engineering specifications.\nExperience with 3D CAD design and engineering documentation.\nExperience with Solid Edge, Teamcenter, and engineering change management processes.\nWorking knowledge of pressure equipment, filtration systems, compressed air systems, industrial gas systems, or comparable industrial products is a PLUS.\nKnowledge of APAC customer requirements, regulations, and manufacturing practices.\nLeadership Skills:\nStrong project coordination, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.\nOthers (% of travel, language, etc.):\nProfessional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.\nAble to travel up to 20%-25% locally and regionally\nEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
