Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Cresco, IA facility.\nRole Responsibilities:\nEffectively troubleshoots problems, performs root cause analysis, and seeks appropriate solutions to critical issues. \nAssists with maintenance work carried out by the maintenance technicians and provides them with necessary and efficient solutions. \nResponsible for managing maintenance technicians and staff on multiple working shifts, including hiring qualified personnel, providing performance feedback, and top grading them as required. \nDevelops short- and long-term range plans for preventative and predictive, facility, and machine maintenance. Providing training to staff as needed. \nPreventive and predictive maintenance plans are a critical part of this position. \nSchedules maintenance technician work assignments and activities and communicates expectations. \nPlans, schedules, and monitors maintenance and repair activities. \nRequisition parts and supplies and coordinates with other departments to assure minimum downtime for production. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n3+ years of manufacturing, maintenance, or mechanical experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociates or Bachelor's Degree\nProficient with industry standard software applications (e.g., MS Office, ERP, maintenance software)\nAbility or willingness to learn to operate typical industrial equipment (e.g., floor sweepers, powered industrial trucks, forklifts, snow blower/sweeper)\nDemonstrated track record of successful supervisory experience\nProject management experience, especially procurement of capital equipment\nAbility to work off-shifts, weekends & extended shifts as required (i.e., 10-12 hours\nKnowledge of control wiring, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, machining, PLC and HVAC.\nHands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, utilizing tools such as visual management, 6S, value stream mapping, cellular layout and standard work\nCertification as an electrician and/or maintenance technician preferred\nImmigration Sponsorship Not Available:\nApplicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.).\nDonaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.\nInternational relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered.\nEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability and Veterans\nEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
