Notify lead/supervisor of any discrepancies.\nVerify counts are accurate with exact counts from the work order transferring down to the next process.\nDocument pertinent information on the work order (i.e. scrap, quality concerns, etc.)\nFacilitate “hot” orders that come through your area from other areas of business.\nUse mechanical ability, work instructions and hand tools to assemble products\nTest equipment when necessary\nMaterial Handling and Transportation of Product\nPerform quality inspection and fill out necessary paperwork for record\nPackage and crate assembled products and load for shipment\nPerform other tasks as directed\nComplies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures\nWork Safely and comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures\nUse all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required\nActive involvement in DPS through continuous improvement and kaizen events\nAssist other departments as assigned\nSuccessfully complete annual RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazardous Material Training (if applicable)\nMinimum Qualifications:\nWork safely\nFor internal positions, no written warnings (within 12 months)\nMaterial Handling with forklifts, cranes, carts, etc.\nDisplay mechanical aptitude\nQuality conscious\nInteract constructively and effectively with all plant employees\nAbility to work in a team environment toward a common goal\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAbility to read blueprints, and understand verbal and written instructions\nPerform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a steady-paced work environment\nReacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned\nMaintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance\nImmigration Sponsorship Not Available:\n· Applicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.).\n· Donaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.\n· International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered.\nEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability and Veterans\nEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
