Join a culture of collaboration and innovation that matters and a chance to learn, effect change, and make meaningful contributions at work and in communities.\nThePunch Press Operator position is located in Dixon, IL and will set up and operate machines to fabricate metal components according to specifications.\nThis 2nd shift position is, Monday through Thursday, 2:00pm to 12:00am.\nRole Responsibilities:\nPreliminarily set up and operate or tend a variety of machines such as punch presses and special purpose equipment to form metal according to drawing requirements\nInterpret drawing and blueprint requirements\nUse hand tools to work with material\nCount product\nResolve routine questions and problems and refer more complex issues to a higher level for resolution\nComplies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures\nUses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEducation consisting of a high school diploma/GED or a minimum of one (1) year of related experience in lieu of education\nPerform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment\nInteract constructively and effectively with all plant employees\nAbility to work in a team environment toward a common goal\nReacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned\nPreferred Qualifications:\nManufacturing Experience\nLean Certified\nHourly Rate: $21.35, plus shift premium\nActual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.\nThis position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.\nEmployee benefits are part of the competitive total rewards package that Donaldson Company, Inc. provides to you.
