Join a culture of collaboration and innovation that matters and a chance to learn, effect change, and make meaningful contributions at work and in communities.\nRole Responsibilities:\nComplies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures, including wearing all designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required as well as performing required equipment daily inspections.\n\nComplete first article inspection reports using various inspection techniques and quality tools.\n\nSets-up and operates different types of punch presses for various types of metal. Performs change-overs as necessary as well as uses various hand tools to set-up machines and make material adjustments.\n\nProduces stamped parts within acceptable quality and quantity standards as stated in the blue prints/route sheets.\n\nCompletes all applicable paperwork (labor cards, production reports, JIT sheets, CI cards, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner.\n\nPerforms preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.\n\nCommunicates effectively with others in the department to help keep the department operating at the desired production rate.\n\nUtilizes mechanical ability, work instructions and hand tools to complete daily tasks.\n\nMaintains cleanliness and safety (6s) in work area as well as involved with continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.\n\nPerform cycle counting duties to ensure inventory accuracy.\n\nMust be able to work scheduled overtime hours (including weekdays and weekends).\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEducation consisting of a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of one (1) year of experience or two (2) years of related experience in lieu of education.\n\nPerform a variety of tasks safely (including operating forklifts, hoists, die handlers) throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.\n\nAbility to read and understand blueprints and routing sheets.\n\nAbility to understand written and verbal instructions.\n\nAbility to utilize manual dexterity in the performance of job responsibilities.\n\nInteract constructively and effectively with all department/plant employees.\n\nAbility to work in a team environment toward a common goal.\n\nReacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.\n\nAbility to be successfully trained in a variety of OSHA-required topics, such as lockout/tagout (LOTO), forklift certification, etc.\n\nMaintain a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.\n\nImmigration Sponsorship Not Available:\nApplicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.).\n\nDonaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.\n\nInternational relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability and Veterans\nEmployment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
